What is Personally Identifiable Information ("Restricted Data")?
Some of the information that users provide when registering to use or while using the website is defined as Restricted Data (Personally Identifiable Information). Restricted Data is defined as:
• Demographic information such as name, age, and gender.
• Contact information such as email address, telephone number, and zipcode.
• Diseases, conditions, procedures and specialties (“Condition”) that the user has provided as their condition of interest.
• Other information including username, password, and private messages.
XpertDox does NOT share Restricted Data without the consent of the respective user.
What is an XpertMatch?
XpertMatch reflects XpertDox’s assessment how closely the doctor's profile matches user’s search query. The doctor's profile includes 1) clinical expertise for the search query, 2) research conducted on the search query, and 3) educational contributions/leadership.
How is XpertDox different from patient review websites?
Patient review websites rank a doctor based on user ratings and/or reviews posted on their website. Such an assessment is not disease specific.
XpertDox is not a patient review website. XpertDox assesses the doctor's profile matches for each search query. The doctor's profile includes 1) clinical expertise for the search query, 2) research conducted on the search query and 3) educational contributions/leadership.
Will a doctor respond to my comments on their profile page?
The comment section on the website is used for reviews and patient comments about a doctor, or hospital. Please do not write personal information such as names, phone numbers or email addresses on these pages because they are for public viewing. XpertDox does not notify the doctor when a comment is posted on their profile page.
